The bottle, designed in collaboration with the founder, is a brutal, elementary shape, and at the same time exquisite and unexpected with its lacquered asymmetrical partitioning.
As Sillages Paris is a brand with a digital-only business model - and the perfume is therefore being sold exclusively online - we needed to create a box that is both protective and desirable. From the constraint of creating a case entirely made of polystyrene, we wanted to create a memorable object.
The outer packaging is even more raw than the bottle, looking like a block of black stone from which the bottle appears to be carved. Its simplicity, proportioned to the nearest millimeter, and its radical nature endow this object with an unexpected refinement given the material it is made from. Three small test vials are planted behind the bottle.
